SME Convention 2014

Again ...  time flies ~ ...

its already May 2014. Did not blog much this year . I think this is only the 2nd post for the year.

Well, I just came back from Johor for the Maybank SME convention 2014 !!! ...

was there from 9th May (Friday)  to 11th May (Sunday) 2014.

Went there and back by bus ... really a long journey ...

took around 6 hours just to reach to the destination with around 40 min break half way.


The purpose of the convention?
to give ourselves some motivation and also to hear some success stories from SME ...

we were all staying in a hotel apartment kinda arrangement ...

2 rooms (1 masterbed, and another room with 2 single beds), 1 living room and 1 bathroom arrangement ...

my room number was 0202 ~ ...

luckily I had some great colleagues who also went for the convention ...

and most of the time I also hanged out at their rooms ~ ...

their room number was 0435 ~ ...


We had a "colour block" dinner event and the next day a "balik kampung" dinner event ~ ...

overall nice but for the outdoor eating session, it was just unbearably toooo hot ~ ...


On Sunday, which was the last day of the convention, we had a motivation talk, a speech by our Head, Community Financial Services Group, and also a group photo shoot session ...

The motivation talk basically tells us that everything starts from "I" ...

for anything to start moving, we have to initiate it ourselves ...

only we can make a difference ...


There are indeed many things to be done in order to be successful ...

and maybe there is no short cut ...

we shall see how long this motivation inside us can last ...

till then ~ ...

New Year 2014, Baby Cheryl's 1st Birthday

Yeah, been a long time since the last post. Being a parent is no easy stuff. There is joy of course, just time consuming.

So slightly late posting this post on New Year 2014 today ~ ... hehe ...

On the countdown day, was in 1U shopping coz of the holidays ... but we went back around 11pm and stayed home during the countdown ... must take care baby mar ~ ...

spent quite a bit for the year end 2013 holidays ...
got myself a surface RT with a promotion price RM899 + RM200 for the type keyboard ~ ...

Typing this post now with it ~ ...

first day got it, the micro sd card slot spring was not working ...
had to change it again ...

but now slight problem with some auto shutdown which I do not know the real reason ...

forums and blogs seems to indicate that it could when updates are taking place ...
but I feel it is not that case ...

However besides that, surface seems ok to use with office softwares in it ...

and its already 26th Jan 2014 today ~!!! ...

Now we are waiting for CNY ~!!! ...

did some last minute shopping and plan to do somemore today ...

economy these days does not seem to be too good ~ ...

so future is uncertain ...

but I guess need to have some sort of planning huh ~ ...

really unknown of the future at the time being ...

On 18th January 2014 1pm ~ ...
Its her Chinese date ... English calendar date would be 29th Jan 2014 ... (another 3 days time)


Got her a 1 year old Teddy Bear cake ~!!! ...

Totally cool  ~ ... Cake from trendy ... we gave a pic we found on the web to draw such as shown below ...

looks almost similar huh ~ ...

The chocolate cakes costs RM138 ~ ...
and it was nice ...

service and response from the cake house however, not tooooo good and friendly ~ ...

PCC exam!!!

Just finished 2 papers of the PCC exam. Man, it's really not easy and lotsa memorising. Last time I studied was in the year 2007.

Well lotsa challenges preparing for the exam. Got a baby to take of as well while juggling work and life.

9th November 2013 was the exam date. It was not easy doing last min studies there. Ants on the stone bench. Bird shit on my notes. My watch strap broke. All these happened.

xmas is coming ~!!!

Its gonna be year end again ...
maybe not so fast but there are already plans for next year ...

Baby cheryl is already 6 months ++ gonna be 7 months end of this month ...

Singapore Trip 17th - 21st November 2012

Was in Singapore from 17th to 21st November 2012.

Well, as hard as it may sound ... this is the very first time that i went there ...

Its just next to Malaysia you see ~ ...

So the trip was a tiring one ... as we rely heavily on public transportation ...

but it was a trip to remember nevertheless ~ ...

its December 2012 already ~!!! ...

New Job
